K&B Crushers, Working Through COVID-19
We remain fully operational during the COVID-19 outbreak – but we are working hard to minimise all risks to our team and our customers.
How We’re Working
Our priorities during the pandemic are:
- Protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and customers
- Continue operations with minimal disruption
We’re following government guidelines and recommendations, which aim to prevent the spread of the virus.
Social Distancing
We’re following the social distancing guidelines wherever possible, with some colleagues working from home to keep the administrative arm of K&B Crushers operational.
Anyone with the symptoms of coronavirus has been asked to stay at home, use the NHS online services and self-isolate, in line with government guidelines. The same rules are being applied to colleagues who have a member of their household showing symptoms.
Cleaning and Hygiene
Our hygiene protocol means we’re frequently washing our hands – using either soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitiser. With coughs and sneezes, we’re following the ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ method.
All surfaces are being decontaminated and regularly cleaned, and we’re using special precautionary measures when handling machinery or waste that has come into contact with others.
Staying Up to Date
Like everyone during the outbreak, we’re keeping a close eye on the situation –monitoring any changes so we’re ready to adapt.
Customer Contact
We are in regular contact with our customers, working together to support their businesses and service requirements during the outbreak. Rest assured that we are continuing to operate as close to normal as possible – with the only changes being those described above, for the health and safety of all.
