This was undertaken by a full crushing team which consisted of an excavator, jaw crusher and wheeled loading shovel. This project was particularly unique as we had to work in conjunction with a strict material testing regime which required us to stockpile the material in set individual stockpiles for testing which would then later be moved on to a fully approved stockpile of reusable recycled 6F2 aggregate.
K&B Crushers also provided additionally operated excavators with various attachments to assist in the processing of concrete arisings in preparation for the crushing works which would follow.
The crushing element of this project was over a duration of 6 months working very closely with the demolition team and the material testing company. The 6F2 material which was produced by our crushing team went on to be re-used on site for reinstatement purposes ready for the site to be handed back over to the client.
