K&B crushers were brought in to undertake various services for our client, D&M Plant.
We were able to deploy an operated 21tn Excavator fitted with a Hydraulic breaker attachment to begin breaking and processing all oversized material provided to us by our client, ready for the crushing process.
Following this initial stage, a further 21tn Excavator and 48tn Jaw Crusher was taken to the site to crush all hardcore and concrete arisings to a 6F2 specification. Throughout the crushing process, we were able to utilise our 2nd excavator to create maximum efficiency and keeping costs to a minimum for our client. This time fitted with a mechanical pulveriser attachment, to assist with the further processing of material which had heavy reinforcing encased within the concrete.
This also allowed for great flexibility to keep the metal arisings produced from the magnet belt clear from the crusher and also loading it straight into bins for disposal, avoiding any pause in the crushing process to clear this down.
